Many businesses in Saudi Arabia are told that SEO costs SAR 5,000 to 25,000 per month. That is true for some large agencies, but it is not what a small business needs to start. This page explains what SEO costs, what you get for the money, and how to avoid paying for work that does not move your rankings.
I am Mohammad Qayum, an independent SEO specialist and WordPress developer based in Al Jubail. My full service is on the SEO services in Saudi Arabia page.

What affects the price of SEO?
- Competition. Ranking for “lawyer in Riyadh” is harder than ranking for a niche service in Dammam.
- Starting point. A new website with technical problems needs an audit and fixes before any content will help.
- Local or national. Local SEO (Google Business Profile, local keywords) is cheaper and faster than ranking across the whole Kingdom.
- Content needs. Service pages, blog posts and Arabic content all take time to write and optimise.
- Language. Ranking in both Arabic and English means more pages to build and maintain.
How long until SEO works?
Most websites start to see real movement in 3 to 6 months. Anyone who promises first-page rankings in a few days is not being honest. That is why my monthly plan has a 3-month minimum and no long-term contract after that.
How to judge an SEO quote
- Ask for a written list of what you receive each month.
- Ask for reports straight from Google Search Console, not screenshots of “keywords”.
- Be careful with guaranteed rankings and with cheap link packages.
- Check that the person can show real websites they have improved.

SEO cost FAQ
How much does SEO cost in Saudi Arabia?
Agencies often charge SAR 5,000 or more per month. As an independent specialist I offer a one-time audit from 450 SAR and monthly SEO from 800 SAR.
Is a one-time SEO audit enough?
An audit fixes the foundation and gives you a clear plan. It is a good start. Ongoing SEO is needed if you want steady growth in rankings and customers.
Do you work with businesses outside Saudi Arabia?
Yes. I work with clients in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other Gulf countries, and I can also work with international clients remotely.
